Supplier Packet Cover Letter

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Kansas supplier. Please complete the following forms to become a Kansas supplier:

Please submit your application for Supplier Permit as instructed. If your company is not located in Kansas, you are required to file the ABC-160 Irrevocable Consent to Jurisdiction with the Kansas Secretary of State. Upon receipt of your copy stamped “FILED”, you must provide the ABC with a copy of this form.

Once the permit is approved, your company information and Kansas Supplier Permit Number will be posted to the ABC Active Liquor Licensee Database on the ABC website (https://www.kdor.org/abc/licensee/). You will not receive correspondence from the ABC.

If you wish to register brands and receive label approval, please complete the Application for Brand Registration and Label Approval (ABC-1001) as instructed and provide all required documentation. To receive approval for spirits and wine, the ABC requires a UNIMERC issued from DISCUS. To register beer, cereal malt beverages or flavored malt beverages, provide the brewery code or you may obtain a UNIMERC from DISCUS. All sizes and package configurations must have a unique number.

Once brands have been registered and labels are approved, they will be posted to the ABC Active Brands Database on the website (https://www.kdor.org/abc/brands/default.aspx).
