Disaster Credit Access Results

Application submitted through the online process
If you submitted your application online, you may access the results of the review by logging in to KS WebTax (http://www.ksrevenue.org/kswebtax.html). Upon signing in, you will be directed to the main page for tax credits. At the bottom of the page you will click on "Manage Credit" which is next to Declared Disaster Capital Investment Credit.

When you have clicked on Manage Credit, a list of the approved Declared Disaster Credit Certificates that are associated with your particular login will be displayed. To display a certain certificate, click on Manage. A copy of your application as submitted will be displayed. At the top of this application page, you will find a certificate number. By clicking on the certificate number, the Kansas Declared Disaster Capital Investment Tax Credit Certificate will be displayed. You may print this certificate and keep with your tax records.

Application submitted through fax, email or through regular mail
If you submitted your application by fax or email or through the US Post Office, you may access the results of the review by logging in to KS WebTax (http://www.ksrevenue.org/kswebtax.html). If you have not registered through KS WebTax you will need to Register with us (http://www.ksrevenue.org/kswebtax.html) and make sure that under the Settings section you click on the radio button that provides, "Tax Credits: Apply, Manage, Report." Upon registering and signing in, you will be directed to the main page for tax credits. Under the Declared Disaster Capital Investment Credit section, you will click on applying here as follows:

"A business that is located or that is proposed to be located in one of these cities may complete an application by applying here."

You will be directed to a page that allows you to Select the tax credit type you wish to manage. Select "Declared Disaster" next to Apply/View Declared Disaster Tax Credit. You will then be requested to enter your EIN (employer identification number) or SSN (social security number) of the business applying for the credit as well as the total amount (all 3 periods together) of estimated expenditures (whole dollars only) OR your certificate identification number.

A list of the approved Declared Disaster Credit Certificates that are associated with the EIN or SSN and dollar amount or certificate ID will be displayed. To display a certain certificate, click on Manage. A copy of your application as submitted will be displayed. At the top of this application page, you will find a certificate number. By clicking on the certificate number, the Kansas Declared Disaster Capital Investment Tax Credit Certificate will be displayed. You may print this certificate and keep with your tax records.
