Driver's License Information
Renewing, Extending or Replacing your Driver's License
Out of State

Active duty military members stationed outside of Kansas may obtain a replacement of their Kansas driver's license, obtain a 6 month extension on their Kansas driver's license, or renew their Kansas driver's license through the mail.

Military dependents or non-military persons out of the state or out of the country may obtain a replacement of their Kansas driver's license or obtain a 6 month extension on their Kansas driver's license.

Applicants under the age of 21 are handled differently than those 21 and older. Click here for more information on applicants under the age of 21.

Please review the following forms and select the category that describes your situation. Print the form, fill it out and send it in with the appropriate documents and fees - Please note - With the exception of those applying for a 6 month extension, everyone pays the photo fee.
