Why can't the club owners get a
letter stating who their agent is and phone number where they can
be reached?
This is confidential information that is not available to the public
due to safety of the agent and their family.
How do I contact the agent in my
area?
Please call the Alcoholic Beverage Control office and we will have
the agent contact you.
When a store gets a citation for
selling to a minor (liquor or cigarette) does the person that sold
also get a fine?
Yes; however, that decision is up to the District Court judge in
the county where the criminal violation is filed.
If you are under the age of 21
and are caught drinking in a bar, does it go on your record? If
so, for how long?
Yes. If you are convicted, the violation remains on your record
until it is expunged.
