Help Design the New Personalized License Plate

Kansans are being asked to help design the new personalized license plate scheduled for production in 2010. The plate should reflect and promote a positive reflection of all that Kansas has to offer its residents and visitors. The new plate will replace the current personalized license plate featuring a buffalo.
The competition is open to all Kansas citizens. A panel of judges from across the state of Kansas will narrow the submissions to a list of three finalists mid January 2008. A sample plate for each of the finalists will be posted on the KDOR Website and Kansas citizens will be invited to vote for their favorite plate from February 1-28, 2008. The winning design will be announced mid March.
The Department is open to any design that reflects and promotes a positive image of Kansas. Those wishing to participate and submit a design have a wide range of subject matters to choose from Be creative.
Entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2007. Designs submitted after December 31, 2007 will be ineligible for consideration.
