The Personal Property Section's responsibilities include:
- maintaining guidelines for the valuation and taxation of personal property;
- maintaining values for K.S.A. Chapter 79, Article 51 motor vehicles;
- holding workshops for counties and other interested parties;
- assisting counties, taxpayers and others with personal property issues.
