Due to the state-wide stay-at-home order, all Kansas Department of Revenue offices are closed to the public. However, most offices will begin work on April 6, 2020.
During the initial drawdown, we evaluated the workflow and feasibility of work-from-home opportunities, which employees and tasks could not be conducted with remote resources, and identified ways we can continue to utilize employees who typically have direct public interaction.
There will be three categories for bringing employees back into regular working hours.
- Some employees will work in their regularly scheduled employment location;
- Some will continue or initiate work-from-home methods; and
- Others will be asked to be on standby as we continue to assess department operational needs.
Your supervisor will be contacting you by phone to give further instructions. If you have any questions, please contact your direct supervisor.
