QLess Wait Line Management System

In a hurry to get your driver's license? So are we!

The QLess wait line management system eliminates the need of standing in line by letting customers use their cell phones, computers or touch-screen kiosks located at the local facility to get in a virtual, mobile line. Customers will receive a text shortly before their turn arrives!

Offices

  • Andover - 640 N. Andover - Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Manhattan - 8200 South Port Drive, Suite 105 - Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Mission - 6507 Johnson Dr. - Tuesday through Friday - 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Olathe - 20162 W. 151st - Tuesday through Friday - 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Topeka - 3907 SW Burlingame Rd. - Tuesday through Friday - 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Wichita - 1823 W 21st N., Suite 42-A - Tuesday through Friday - 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Cell Phone

Customers can choose to send a text message to the management system which will issue them a place in a virtual line. Shortly before their turn arrives, they will get a text from the system asking them to return to the vehicle office. To enter the line using your cell phone, send a text to 714-333-1234 (NOTE: this line only accepts text messages, not direct calls) with one of the following:

  • Andover DL - For the Andover office
  • Manhattan DL - For the Manhattan office
  • Mission DL - For the Mission office
  • Olathe DL - For the Olathe office
  • Topeka DL - For the Topeka office
  • Wichita DL - For the Wichita office

Johnson County residents wishing to renew their tags or register a vehicle can get in line for the Johnson County Treasurer's Office can get in line here: http://treasurer.jocogov.org/

Documents you will need at the license station:

Kansas Driver's License or ID Card Renewals

  • Driver's License/ID Credential
  • Renewal Notice
  • Legal Document of Name Change - if changing names (no photocopies)
  • Proof of Residential Address

Original Applications for United States Citizens

  • Proof of Lawful Presence (U.S. birth certificate or valid U.S. passport; consular report of birth abroad issued by U.S. Dept. of State; U.S. Certificate of Citizenship; U.S. Certificate of Naturalization)
  • Proof of Legal Name Change
  • Proof of Social Security Number
  • Proof of Residential Address
  • Proof of Residency

  • Proof of Lawful Presence in the United States (Unexpired foreign passport, visa and approved I-94; unexpired permanent resident card I-551; proof of asylum in the U.S. I-589)
  • Duration of Status Documentation
  • Proof of Social Security Number (if applicable)
  • Proof of Kansas Residency
  • Proof of Residential Address
  • Prior DHS Approval - System Alien Verification for Entitlement (SAVE)
